- HPTLC Identification Method for Grape Seed Extract Developed
- Date:2014-06-01
- Anji, China - The signature components in grape seed extract that help identity possible spiked products: catechin, epicatechin and procyanidin B2 are easily identified in the HPLC chromatograms of grape seed and grape seed extract, while low leaks are observed in the HPLC analysis for peanut skin and peanut skin extract. Skyherb has used HPLC method for identifying grape seed extract skillfully. Recently, by cooperating with Alkemist, Skyherb established better HPTLC method for the ID test. High-Performance Thin-Layer Chromatography (HPTLC) is the most advanced form of TLC and comprises the use of chromatographic layers of utmost separation efficiency and the employment of state-of-the-art instrumentation for all steps in the procedure.
